Red Jade @ BCFW Spring/Summer 2010

Red Jade is one of the few designers who consistently puts on a show that is both interesting, as far as fashion is concerned, and great to photograph.

I had the pleasure of shooting Red Jade a year ago, last BCFW, and enjoyed the series, so I made a point to show up to the show, which took place at Circa Restaurant in Vancouver.

    I like how the black background and and dramatic lightling suit the sculptural quality of Red Jade designs. The exaggerated eye shadow reinforces graphic shapes and adds to the drama. Elevated fashion but still accessible. Wonderful!
