Something completely different from what I usually shoot, Tegan and Sara. I can’t really say I am a fan, but I enjoyed their energy on stage, and I have to say, its not the usual metal and rock I shoot, but its not bad. These shots are from the first of two dates in Vancouver, Jan 5th, 2010.

We had to ask the stage crew what side was which sister, since they are both twins, its pretty hard to tell the difference. Tegan is left, Sara is right.

Tegan on the keyboard. Both sisters play keyboards, guitars, and sing, which also makes it difficult to tell the difference.

I like the sound of a hollow body guitar more than a solid, doesn’t matter if its electric or unplugged, I just think it has more… twang, if that makes sense.

Love this shot. I have another where she is peeking out, and to frame left, but this shot has a lot more emotion.

Some nice black and white high contrast works well with back lighting.
